Stewardship
Stewardship is at the heart of the Adams Polk Mission. Just as we are called to act as a good steward of our customer's investment in a new home, we are also called to act as good Stewards of the Blessings God has entrusted to us. We activley participate in and contribute to the following causes and ministries:
Our Father's Children
Mission Statement - Create positive memories for children ages 6 – 18, in a 1 week camp setting or 2 weekend retreat settings per year. Through these programs, lives will be changed eternally through the love of Christ.
Purpose – Create, manage and support week-long camps and weekend retreats for abused and neglected children.
Vision - Provide a week of camp/retreats and establish a mentoring program for abused and neglected children of North Central Texas.
Pregnancy LifeLine
Pregnancy Lifeline's mission is to minister to the spiritual, physical, emotional and financial needs of women during and after pregnancy, to provide accurate information regarding abortion, adoption, single parenting and marriage; to promote sexual purity; and provide support for post-abortive women.
A Place for Grace
David Actively suppoorts A Place for Grace, which is a Christian Children's Home in Willow Park, TX
Piedres Negras Orphanage
Jeff Spends several weekends a year volunteering with his church to construct a Christian orphanage in Piders Negras, Mexico. The flat concrete roof is currently being constructed and completion is scheduled for Summer 2008. Upon Completion, the emphasis will then shift to establishing relationships among Families from Fort Worth and local families at the Church in POiedres Negras as well as the children that will be leaving at the orphanage. Jeff's children have enjoyed the time in Mexico working and playing alongside the local children.
