A Closed Attic Assembly!
OK, Most now understand why Polyurethane Foam works.  The is and has always been encapsulating the entire envelope of the home, including the attic.  Think about this:  Why have we ever thought it was OK to have a 140 degree attic when it is only 100 degrees outside?  Silly, isn't it?  And, ever since the 1970's when slab on grade foundations became popular, builder have had to relocate the HVAC ducting into that HOT Attic!  Well, we were not very smart.  Instead of dealing with the issue, we simply started upsizing the HVAC system to offset the in-efficiency of the cool air moving through the super-heated attic space.  Good News:  With a closed, unvented attic and a properly engineered HVAC system, we have eliminated the problem and can cool (or heat) your home with almost half of the capacity as required in a conventional home!  That's right, we only need about 1 ton of HVAC for 800-1,000 square feet of living space.  The conventional home and even home with a well hyped radiant barrier, still require 1 ton for every 400-500 square feet!  Bottom line is that an Adams Polk home will consume around 40% less electricity to perform.  That means a huge reduction in your utility bills!  In fact, our homes, even at a higher up front cost will actually cost less from month 1.  No waiting to recoup the money you have spent!  And, our higher prices are primarily because we include ammenities that are upgrades with our competitor.  We also use better materials such as Hardi siding.  For more info on the Building Science we incorporate, please visit www.thermacotesytems.com.  Also, see the attched flyer!
